Reception

We all helped to set up for the reception which turned out so nice. My mom and Tiffany did all the decorations and food (of course Tiffany and Paul were not allowed near the reception center during the setup!) Jackson was very helpful as we were setting up. We would put something down, and he would promptly move it somewhere else. Here he is before he got into his suit.

And here he is looking like a stud. Please note the boutonnier that would not stay up so you see the back side of the rose instead!

This was one of the cutest pictures Kevin took. Tiffany looked beautiful that day and I hope that Paul didn't feel threatened by my baby's good looks! :)

Yea, a family picture that finally turned out. For some reason the bridesmaids dresses look red in these pictures, but they were really pink. Tiffany's colors were brown, raspberry, and baby pink.

That's my little man.

Having some fun in the wedding line.
My gorgeous sister Alyssa.

My mom made cumber buns and bow ties for all the little boys that helped clear plates during the reception. These are some of my cousins kids and Jackson. It was a miracle that we got them all looking in the same general direction.

Cutting the cake was harder than it looked! Isn't it cute though? I hardly wanted to eat it.

Look at the mischievous face of my sister's! You just know whats coming next.

And she got him!

But he distracted her with a kiss, and then...
At least they forgave each other in time for their first dance!

In the mean time Jackson was being entertained by grandpa. Yes, those are pink socks you are seeing. All the men took a picture with pink socks just to be funny, and it looks like my dad kept them on all evening!

My mom also enjoyed doing some entertaining.

And then it was time for the newlyweds to leave. The only thing the reception center would let us throw at them was birdseed. Unfortunately some of their friends thought it was funny to POUR it on their heads! So Tiffany not only had to take all the bobby pins out of her hair, but she also emptied it of birdseed. Gross.

Jackson pretty much sums up how we all felt that night after such a fun day. It was 10:00 PM before we could even take him home and he was out the moment his head hit the car seat! What a trooper. Especially considering his only nap was a half hour long while we drove back from Salt Lake!

Wow! Looks like quite the event!! You got a cute little kid there too! Crazy how there's part of my brain that expects us all to show up to a MVHS game as 18 year olds....alas....life must go on....plus I had a lot more zits as an 18 year old and that just sucks. :) Yes...I do have your blog address....sorry I never post but I'm getting better!
