Trip to Utah

At the very beginning of April we took a trip to Utah to welcome home my brother Jared who has been serving a mission in the Washington DC area for the past two years. It was so much fun to see him and to have our whole family together for a little while. We all went down to St. George to stay and have some fun in the sun. Here are the kiddos all ready to play at the park.

Pretty view of the temple from where we were staying.

Grandpa Bishop got this rocket that Jackson loved. This is how it works:

Jump up high in the air...

...then land on this pink thing and the rocket goes flying!

Even Kaitlyn liked to do it.

Jackson enjoyed eating a banana.

And of course the little one wanted some bites as well.

Cute little face.

We had fun at the park swinging on the swings.

Grandma was helping Kaitlyn go down the slide.

Fun with Grandma.

Little climber.

My two little ones sitting at the top of the slides.

All the girls + Jackson enjoying the nice weather.

We wanted to get pictures of Lyla and Kaitlyn in their matching pj's. Lyla wasn't too happy about it, so Kaitlyn thought she could help...
...um, not helping Kaitlyn!

Hmmm, I wonder why Lyla is screaming?

Thats a pretty good one.

We got to go to the St. George temple because my brother Tyson recieved his endowments. He is going on a mission in July to Guatamala. So exciting!

Thanks Alyssa and Cassidy for watching the kiddos while we enjoyed the temple. My sister Alyssa and Kaitlyn are best buddies! So cute.

We went hiking and even though it was only around 80 degrees, it seemed so hot. Jared lifted Jackson up and we were acting out the scene from The Lion King...yeah my family is different :)

A more normal picture of us...

The two babies- Lyla and Kaitlyn- taking a bath after a fun swim. They are going to have so much fun as they grow up together!

I should have more pictures, but I need to get them from my family, so I guess there will be another post sometime...

Wow, you're family has a lot going on. A brother getting home from a mission and one leaving! Exciting times. Cute pictures of your family. Your hair is short!!! It's cute and I'm sure it feels good when it was so hot in St. George.
