Josh & Alisha's Wedding

The week before Christmas, my brother Josh married the girl of his dreams, Alisha. They were married in the Manti Temple, so we decided to drive down the day before and enjoy some time in Ephraim, where Kevin went to school before his mission. It was very fun to see where he lived.

We also ate at the pizza place where I'm sure he spent a lot of his time. It was so yummy. Then we drove by this yogi the bear statue. There is quite a story that is attached to this. I will tell it briefly, but I'm sure won't do it justice. Basically, one night he and his roommates decided to kidnap it! Yeah, so 3-4 guys pulled it quite a ways, uphill, to where they had parked their car in the temple parking lot! Then these brilliant people decided to put it in the front yard of the house they lived in! Awesome! It is now bolted down to the ground so it won't be taken again. I'm so glad my husband has grown up since then!

It snowed from the moment we got to Manti, until the moment we left the next day! Over 24 hours. The view of the temple was beautiful though.

These two munchkins were troopers, taking pictures in the freezing snow, taking naps in the car on the drive to SLC, and staying up until almost 11 PM that night. They were a little out of control at the reception so we let them climb up and down the stairs to get that energy out.

That yogi bear story is awesome! I can't believe they tried to kidnap that HUGE thing! Funny. I'm surprised Kevin is allowed back into town after doing that. haha.

You guys are troopers for going to a december wedding in the the snowy winter with 2 little kids. Glad you had a good time.
