Turkey Day

For Thanksgiving this year we went to the Tri-Cities to visit Kevin's brother Lance, his wife, Heather, and their son Eric. We had a blast! They made us feel right at home and we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. It was fun to spend some time with them and see their new, beautiful, home. Thursday morning the men got up and went to play football.
There was plenty of time to play. Eric is such a great cousin for Jackson to have. Although there is an age difference, they get along so well! Eric would build towers just in time for Jackson to knock them down!

The guys even made an apple pie that turned out great. I need to get some more pictures from Heather to prove that we actually made some food too! The feast was wonderful, even though we were exhausted by the time it was ready.
Jackson found this lunch pail and would carry it around everywhere. It was pretty funny to watch. He was our little entertainer!
On Friday we went to see some reindeer! This was one of the little guy's favorite things. He would just stare and then yell gibberish at them. It was quite a bit colder there that we have been used to in Seattle. Good thing we came prepared with our heavy coats!

Thanks Lance, Heather and Eric for such a wonderful weekend!

Friday night we went to my cousin's reception and got to see lots of my cousins and my Aunt and Uncle. That was a very fun night to see them and watch how happy my cousin Dana is.
Jackson helped out by taking some of the presents and carrying them around.

Apparently he thought they were his! At least he will be excited for Christmas this year!

Looks like you had fun. I know, it's much colder over there. :) I think that is cool you were able to see reindeer! Jackson looks so grown up walking around. I love him checking out all the gifts. Christmas will be fun with him.
