What we've been up to

When Jackson is finished eating and we take off his tray to wash him, he will try to unbuckle himself with very messy hands. So Kevin came up with the idea to tell him to "put his hands up" and its working. Jackson will just put his hands up randomly now, probably because we give him lots of attention when he does.

Jackson has been signing "more" for a while, and we are now trying to work on having him actually say it, but I happened to capture him at this moment and thought it was cute.

This little munchkin just loves the refrigerator. He loves to take everything out and play inside it. Thank goodness he can't actually open it himself yet! (He's just really good at catching it before it shuts completely after I open it!)

Jackson is quite the helper these days. He even has his own mop, but insisted on using mine instead!

Jackson hasn't been very cuddly since he was about 9 months old, but lately he has started giving hugs. He would give me hugs and I would tell Kevin all about it. Kevin was starting to feel left out, but when Jackson gave him this hug one day after work, I think I saw Kevin completely melt. It was so sweet.
