Trying to stay cool...

Here are more picture of Jackson holding Kaitlyn. It probably seems like he does this a lot because I've posted so many pictures like this, but really we just grab the camera every time it happens so we can capture those moments while Jackson is in the mood.

I'm not sure if Jackson is happy to be holding Kaitlyn, or if he is just laughing because she is crying. He seems to think its pretty funny!

This is what Kaitlyn looked like all last week when it was over 100 degrees outside! We broke the record at 103. For those who live in hot places, this doesn't seem so bad, until you realize that most people in Seattle don't have air conditioning. It was still so hot at night that fans didn't even seem to help, they were just blowing around hot air! Kaitlyn decided to stay awake from 1:00-3:30 AM on the hottest night, so we just went out on the porch to stay somewhat cool. I wish I could have just hung out in my diaper all day!

To keep cool we tried to go swimming and play in the sprinklers as much as possible. This is a swim suit that my mom actually made for me and so Kaitlyn got to wear it. I think its getting too small for her already though, you've gotta love the belly!

Last week my little sister, Cassidy, came to visit. She has been a good buddy for Jackson- he now has two mothers- and she also loved holding Kaitlyn.
