Surprise! Kevin is 30!

I know I already talked about Kevin's birthday, but that was before all the surprises. The day after his birthday Kevin mentioned that he didn't get to blow out candles. I hadn't though anything of it because I knew he would get the chance that weekend. But I got out more cupcakes and we sang to him as a family.
The kids are very good at blowing out candles. Jackson is especially excited for his "Happy Day" coming up this month!

On Saturday Kevin decided to go to BYU to study in the morning. His parents told him that they wanted to meet him on campus to look around. When they were done doing that, they told him they wanted to take him out to lunch and they came to pick me up at my parent's house since we had been "swimming" there. But it turns out a bunch of Kevin's friend and family were at the house waiting to surprise him!
He says he had no idea I was up to anything. He only thought his parents were acting a little weird. Haha. I'm so glad I was able to pull it off. Thank goodness I had my mom's help as I prepared all the food and planned the party. She and Kevin's parents each made wonderful food. I couldn't have done it without them!

My mom and I made this ice cream cake. We weren't sure that it would still be standing after 5 minutes in the sun, but somehow it survived long enough for us to blow out candles and eat it!

Here is most of the crew that was there. A few had to leave early and my mom was taking the picture.

It was quite a day because all the women had to leave at 5 PM to make it to the Relief Society Broadcast, and then we met the men at the Real Salt Lake game which started at 8PM. It was a blast. Kevin's parents came...

...as well as my brothers Josh (left), his fiance Aliesha, my other brother Jared and Allison, the girl he is dating...

...and my parents!

The field and stadium was so cool. I'm sure we will be going to another game sometime soon if anyone ever wants to join us.

Happy Birthday Kevin! We hope you felt how much we love you on your special day!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

(By the way, Jeanne, I was trying to see if you had a bump in the pictures! I can't tell that you're pregnant!)
