This summer we
will be going to
Philadelphia to do an internship with Johnson & Johnson. We are so excited for another adventure in our lives. It will be fun to be so close to NYC and DC, where Kevin's sisters live. We can't wait! Kevin and I got to go there in October for a weekend where we were wined and dined. Kevin's parents watched the kids so they were in good hands. Here is the hotel we stayed at. They fed us dinner both nights we were there.

On Friday I got to go for a tour of the city and Kevin went to check out the building he will be working at with the other interns. That afternoon they paid for the wives to go to the spa and get massages! It was a wonderful day for me to relax!
This is outside the Comcast building.

This is inside and they have a huge screen that shows little movies.

We ate in this building Friday night. A wonderful steak dinner. Yum.

For Thanksgiving we went to Kevin's parent's home to eat some yummy food and Jackson and Kaitlyn got to play with their cousins. Here Mady and Jackson were helping Grandma make whipped topping for the pies.

Being a little silly together! Jackson just loves his cousins.

Oh cool! You're going to LOVE Philly! I wonder if you'll be in my parents' ward? (There's a good chance, since there aren't many members over there!) My mom is the primary president, and my dad is the GD teacher. They're in the Philadelphia 4th Ward, and they love it. (Although the ward is currently trying to come up with a cooler, more distinctive name than that!) If you travel out there between now and the internship and need a place to stay, our house is always open. Just tell my mom you were a former Harvest Dancer with me, and she'll let you right in!
Wow! That will be a fun experience. You guys are getting good at traveling. :) That's a fun weekend of getting wined and dined!
I was so excited that you got your pampering day!
How fun! When are you moving out? How long is the internship? Maybe we will cross paths before we move from Pittsburgh. We almost moved to Philadelphia this fall for a job, but we decided not to at the last minute...BUT because of that I learned a lot about the city and the different areas and where to live and stuff (we had picked out a place to live and everything). So let me know if you have any questions. Plus, one of our favorite families of all time moved out there from Pittsburgh this past year. We really miss them. Our loss is your gain. They have an adorable little girl that is Kaitlyn's age. I'll have to let them know you are coming!
