Madison's Hospital Pictures

Baby girl didn't want to cry and needed a little oxygen, but was just fine after a minute.

The official weight was 6 lbs 15 oz.

They placed Madison on my chest immediately after she was born. Then they took her away and wrapped her up. I was so happy to see her sweet little face.

So was her daddy. He is completely in love with this little girl. As I write this he is laying on the couch with Madison on his chest.

My parents came in as Madison was placed in the warmer. They loved meeting her for the first time. It was nice to have them there.

My sister Alyssa came a little while later and got to see our little girl. I think she will love her aunt as much as Kaitlyn does.

This was my nurse (on the left) and my midwife (on the right). They were wonderful. I will tell the birth story in a later post, but they made it all much easier for me!

Here is our little girl right after her bath. Kevin picked out the bow- red and white for our little Valentine baby. Glad she has her own birthday, but that holiday will always be special for her.

Grandma and Grandpa Grossarth came for a visit and then stayed at our home with Jackson and Kaitlyn. I don't know why we didn't get a picture of Grandpa, but this is a cute one of Madison and her Grandma!

Jackson and Kaitlyn came for a visit wednesday night. Kaitlyn was very excited to see her baby sister. Jackson was probably even more excited, but unfortunetely he has had a nasty cold and cough. He wore a mask and sat next to me most the time. He wasn't feeling too good so their visit wasn't very long. That has been the hardest part of this whole thing- having sick kids that can't hold the baby. Not only that, but Kevin has also been sick. Hopefully we can all get healthy soon!

My dad does some of his surgeries at Orem Community Hospital, where I delivered, so he got to stop in often to check in on us. When the nurses there found out we were related to Dr. Bishop, the would also stop in to see his grandaughter.

Then they kidnapped her so she could see my dad in surgery...

And she even got her own scrub set, made for her by those crazy nurses! They had a lot of fun with Madison!

I love the little bow they added to the hat!

We left the hospital with this little sweetie and headed home.

Jackson and Kaitlyn were super excited to see Madison. Its been so fun to see how they are with her!

We are in Rock Springs, WY now. Not to far away! Chris is in his 3rd year teaching at the community college here.
I've been keeping up with your blog forever, but I guess I've never left a comment before- sorry!
Your family is so cute. We will have to get together sometime.

She's too cute. It's amazing how little they are when they are born and how fast they grow in that first year!

That's funny how they made her own set of scrubs! haha.

Oh so cute! I love the scrubs pics- how funny! And that last one in the carseat next to the other kiddos- she looks so tiny! I can't believe that in one week I'll be holding her!! Pretty sure no one's going to be able to get me to put her down...

It was fun to see all the pictures. I don't think she was too happy about her new set of scrubs but I'm sure she loves them now. Are you enjoying 3? I think that was the one that threw me... not enough hands. She is adorable, of course, look at her siblings... cute family. Tell your hubby that I'm glad to see he is becoming more open minded... the red and white bow was a nice touch to get her ready to be a U of U fan. "}
