Kaitlyn Turned Two!

June 25, 2009 started out wonderfully at 1:02 AM with the birth of Kaitlyn Jean. She has been such a joy to us and just gets more fun each day. We had so much fun celebrating her birthday a week and a half ago. Since Jackson has been looking forward to his next birthday since his last birthday, it was so exciting for him to help Kaitlyn all day.


Kaitlyn didn't quite know what was going on, but Jackson's excitment made her excited, plus getting fun presents was great! She loved that part.

We had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and Kevin bought some pink ones just for Kaitlyn. Her favorite colors (the ones she knows) are pink, blue and green.




Kaitlyn's aunt Lauri also celebrated her birthday that same week and happened to be in town visiting us (along with Shari). Jackson did a great job decorating the cake!

Kevin was out of town and I took some pictures to send to him. This is the first time I've actually done Kaitlyn's hair! Its finally long enough. Wahoo!

One day while walking from our community pool, Kaitlyn took off running, tripped, and instead of catching herself with her hands, her face took the hardest hit.

Kaitlyn is such a little sweetie. She loves to dance and twirl. She loves Jackson and following him all over the place. She is definitely a two year old and will scream if Jackson takes something from her. People wonder how such a loud noise can come out of such a sweet little girl. She is pretty tall for her age. I haven't taken her in for her docter's checkup yet, but people have been asking if she is two for the past 6 months. She is speaking so well, I'm very impressed with how she puts words together.
