Our Last Days in Philly

These are some pictures that capture our last few days in Philadelphia. The three kids were gathered around Kevin's phone watching a movie of themselves.
Madison was just getting used to sitting up when we left. That's why we have all the pillows around her. She seemed pretty proud of herself in this picture.
The kids had to say goodbye to their diggers that we found on the side of the road one day (people just leave stuff they don't want and anyone can pick it up!) It was especially sad for Jackson since he had been asking for one all summer. We just didn't have the room in our van. We are still on the lookout for them in Utah. The last day, we went on our usual walk to the clubhouse to take some pictures. The kids did a great job of pushing Madison in the stroller, only getting off track a few times...I love how they would stick their heads in to say hello to their little sister. Then they all actually posed for me.Ha, Kaitlyn dangling from the stroller. Then Jackson tried it and the whole thing almost tipped over!I loved walking over this bridge. It was so pretty with flowers on each side.
Here is the front of the clubhouse where we walked every morning for breakfast, which included all types of huge muffins, orange juice, yogurt and oatmeal. This is where we sat on really hot and humid mornings (there were some times where we were sweating at 8 in the morning!)
And this is where we ate on cooler mornings or if the kids were extra wild! We would also walk here on Sunday afternoon and eat apples.Of course we had to say goodbye to our best friend- the pool! Kaitlyn wanted to get in with her clothes on.
Good thing it was just the kiddie pool!
The deeper pool is behind them.Love how they are squinting. Definitely have my eyes. Our favorite life guard who would have water fights with the hose. The kids loved it!Sometimes in the morning, if we didn't have the car, we would borrow golf clubs and balls and hit balls on the putting green. We met this lady one morning at breakfast and on the last day, Jackson was admiring the orange cup she was holding. She thought he was so cute that she brought over an orange cup for him to take home. He loves that cup and drinks out of it often. Right next door, we had some wonderful neighbors who my kids LOVED to play with. I was showing them this picture and Jackson asked when we are going to go back to visit them. It was so much fun to have fun friends so close. Even though they are 8, 7, and 5 years old they played so well with my kids and would look out for them. And this is their beautiful mother (and her oldest daughter) who let me borrow a ton of her stuff and would let me come over and talk whenever I needed to. We miss them all a lot.
These are the pictures I took while I was packing up. We decided to leave a day earlier and so I was hustling to get everything done.

We miss Philly, and our neighbors, but it has been nice to get back home and get situated. Things are busier than ever and so I'm just trying to keep up with life!
