I was getting stressed out because I wanted to get pictures taken of Kaitlyn since she turned two in June, and it just wasn't happening. Time was flying by (still is) so I decided to just try it myself. Luckily the weather was really good and we found the perfect colors of flowers to be our backdrop. Kaitlyn actually cooperated at least for a couple of the pictures!
Kevin sometimes calls her "squints." Wanna guess why?
We're so glad your ours little Kay!

Ever since this little girl could use her feet to get around, she has been running. Sometimes its a little scary because she just takes off and will look down so we all worry that she will run into something. Anyway, here are some great action shots.
Kaitlyn is such a joy to have. She is learning her ABCs and 123's along with Jackson. In fact, she can count to 11 which she often does before jumping off things (like the couch or a chair). My favorite word she uses right now is "scuse me" (excuse me) when she is trying to get past someone who is in the way. Kaitlyn is Madison's "helper." She makes sure Madison doesn't touch anything she isn't supposed to. Actually, Kaitlyn usually ends up just taking every toy away from her baby sister, which is probably why Madison has been learning to crawl! Kay Kay loves to hang out with Jackson, but can definitely hold her own if he tries to boss her around at all. She has quite the shrill scream! Her daddy is her favorite. Anytime she gets hurt or scared she asks for him to hold her, even if he is at school. Kaitlyn has recenly enjoyed dressing up and looking pretty. Her favorite color is definitely pink and of course was the first color she learned. She now knows blue, green, purple and yellow. Kaitlyn can be so grown up that we sometimes forget she is just two. Even though she can communicate quite well, she has her fair share of tantrums, as seen below
