About two weeks ago I was running around the house trying to get a million things done, and Jackson decided he was hungry! So I laid him down and held the bottle out in front of him and he held it. I didn't think that would last too long, but everytime I passed him he was still holding it up. Finally I walked by and the bottle was empty, but he was still sucking on it. Wahoo, he can do it on his own! Its so nice to have such an independent baby!

I remember feeling so guilty when Austin first held his bottle because I was too busy to hold it for him. I got over it eventually and learned to love it. Especially when I got to where I could pass him a bottle in the car and get him to stop crying!
