Some days are just hard.

Jackson and I had a rough day yesterday. He decided to act like a toddler and everything I did was rewarded with a tantrum. Of course his worst one was in public. He has been taking 3 hour naps for the past two weeks, but yesterday I don't think he even slept for 45 minutes and he woke up cranky. The day seemed to drag on and I was left feeling like a bad mom. But the sun came out and Kevin came home- with tulips! He said that Jackson had ordered them especially for me to say sorry. Aren't my men so sweet? Amazing what flowers can do for a woman! Thanks you guys for making my day. Today was much better and so hopefully Jackson was just tired and this won't start a trend, or we won't be going anywhere for the next little while!

Don't worry - it WILL start a trend. His toddler days are just beginning. Although in some ways it gets easier too because they can start communicating better and don't leave you guessing what they want and why they're screaming.

Ohhh, what a wonderful husband you have! (Dustin's here and says to tell Kevin to knock it off...it makes the rest of them look bad...but he's really awesome too).
Sorry about your hard day... not fun!

Ummm... so I got your last comment about our baby coming and oh my goodness, I can't believe I haven't told you. I WAS going to when you watched our kids last time, but then we rushed out and I thought, "I'll just tell her when we get back" but then you were gone and didn't want to tell just Kevin without you... anyway, then I was for sure going to when we watched Jackson but I don't remember why I didn't. But anyway, this is a long comment. I'm glad you know now and I'm sorry for being a slacker!

Hey Jeanne! I'm so glad you found me. Your little boy is such a doll! And congrats on a girl on the way! I love Tulips - they are my favorite. Those cranky days are the worst. I'm with Marci, it is so nice to have a fresh start the next day to do everything (almost) right!

I am sorry Jeanne! All you can do it wake up in the morning and try to have a better day (and hopefully Jackson will too) We run into those days quite often now with Kaleb 2 1/2 and Bekah 18 months. Flowers really are the best though. I hope that today was much better!

Sorry to hear about the rough day, but the whole tulip thing is so cute! Way to go Kevin (and Jackson).
