We just got Jackson a new carseat- yes we know that he is now 17 months old- but the other car seat worked just fine, plus I've been reading more and more that its actually safer to keep them in rear facing carseats for as long as possible. Even up to 35 pounds! When this car seat arrived last week Jackson insisted on sitting in it even before we had it all put together. He really thinks he is pretty cool now and tries very hard to buckle it himself.
Last Sunday we went for a little drive. The sun would poke out occasionally so I would put my sunglasses on. Jackson wanted his on-for once- so he could be as cool as me!

What a cute kid! I've heard the same thing about the rear facing seats, good for you. We got that same forward facing seat for Lydia. Don't you love it? I love how the cup holder is inline with the seat rather that sticking out the side!
He looks like such a big boy in his new seat! Great choice on the carseat, Chloe has the Nautilus too and she is six. We love it... it will last Jackson a really long time!
That's awesome that he goes up and down the stairs by himself! Jilly will go up but staunchly refuses to come down, and I am soooo over that. Gotta keep working on it, I guess.

I can't believe he's starting to walk up and down the stairs! Crazy.
