Two Months Old!

As of August 25th Kaitlyn is 2 months old! Where has the time gone?

She is talking more, smiling all the time, wearing 0-3 month clothing, size 1 diapers, and she is already very picky about who holds her and what position she can be held in! Oh boy. She actually went for about 5 days straight sleeping 7-8 hours in a row. But now, she is off the schedule and waking up more often. She loves to suck on her hand as you can see in the picture below!

Head Circumference 38 1/2 cm 50%

Weight 11 lbs 3 1/2 oz. 70%

Here is her little buddie Topher. We had a playdate one night while their dads were playing basketball. Kaitlyn screamed almost the whole time he was over, but stopped just long enough for us to get this cute picture. Turned out she was just really tired and wanted to go to bed!

I had a birthday last Thursday and to celebrate with my kids, we went to Jetty Island with playgroup. It was quite the adventure. I was so worried I would lose Jackson in the water, but we survived!

Kevin brought home roses and a cold stone ice cream cake! It was amazing. Then he surprised me by having our wonderful friend, Nana, show up to watch the kids while he and I went to dinner. It was a very fun night. I'm so lucky to have such a great family!

On Friday we sold our Suzuki! I've had that car since 2003. We went through a lot together driving back and forth between Rexburg, ID and Orem, UT. Once, when coming back from Yellowstone with my mom and sister, we hit black ice and ended up rolling into a ditch! It was very scary, but we weren't hurt and luckily didn't hit any other cars. It has been a good car though and Kevin has LOVED driving it to work everyday- right Kev? ;) No it really has been great, but its time to move on. We are hoping to find a minivan in Wisconsin. It worked out perfectly to sell the suzuki here so we don't have to drive/ship it to Wisconsin. Goodbye little car!
