6 Months Old

Kaitlyn was 6 months old On December 25th. What a nice half birthday! This little sweetie has Kevin, Jackson and me completely wrapped around her little finger. She is the happiest person I've ever known. I thought this picture captured her perfectly because she is always smiling and loves to play with her feet, that is, when she is laying down. Most the time she likes to sit up and play with anything nearby, as well as suck on it! It looks like her first two teeth are trying to come in (one on top and one on bottom in the front). She is always reaching for things and has started rocking back and forth on her legs and hands. I'm not sure I'm ready for her to become mobile yet-help! She is absolutely in love with Jackson. Even when he grabs a toy away, or wrestles her to the ground and smothers her (we are still working on being gentle) she will laugh and giggle. She gives all of us hugs to brighten our day.

We have started calling her KayKay to make it easier for Jackson to say (he says YayYay). At her 6 month check up her stats were:

Head Circ: 43 cm 75 %

Height: 26 1/4 in. 75%

Weight: 15 lbs 3 oz. 50 %

She is wearing size 3 diapers, 6-9 month clothing, sleeping from about 9 PM to 7 AM (except for the past few days as she is teething!)

Kaitlyn knows how to get our attention. Whether she is bored with her toys, wants us to talk to her, or is done taking a nap she will yell. I have the funniest video that I wanted to post, but I've tried about 5 times with no luck. Hopefully I'll be able to get it to work sometime soon.
