11 Months Old

...and she's potty trained! Hahahah just kidding. In my dreams. As Jackson has been trying hard to potty train, Kaitlyn has become fascinated by his little potty. She will push it around the kitchen. It makes the most awful nails-on-the-chalkboard sound so one day I just sat her down on it and she loved it. I will also put her on it sometimes because it makes Jackson a little jealous if she is sitting on it and he isn't!
Kevin took this cute picture of Kaitlyn when we were at the zoo.

Kaitlyn modeling this dress we found at The Children's Place for $2.99.

Kaitlyn with her escort. Sometimes we call her "squints." Any idea why?

We got this little inflatable pool to survive the heat we've had here. We were able to enjoy it for a couple days until the long string of rain started. The kids just loved it.

Kaitlyn tried to feed herself the other day and it was quite entertaining. When I sent this picture to Kevin, he emailed back suggesting I put goggles on her when she feeds herself! Not a bad idea.

Kaitlyn is such a joy. She is our little sweetie. Jackson has spent the past year beating her up and wrestling her to the ground, but it isn't so one-sided any more. Kaitlyn will wrap her arms around his neck and put all her weight against him until they fall down. She will take his toys with a big grin and giggle. Her favorite toys right now are probably his firetrucks!

She has started playing with baby dolls too though so she may actually have a girly side as well.
Kaitlyn has just learned how to crawl down stairs. After she fell down them when she was about 8 months I decided not to use the gate so she just had to get used to them- and she has!

Those pleats remind me of those Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Remember, the ones that look like a cupcake, and then you flip the wrapper inside out to make it a skirt? And they smelled good? Yeah, those. :)

I love the picture with Jackson and Kaitlyn all dressed up. And what a deal on the dress! I love it.

Squints is a cute nickname. Just hope it doesn't stick! We started calling Evan "roni" because he loved macaroni and now that's what we call him! I bet some people think that's his real name!!
