Jackson has been wearing underwear for almost two months now and we couldn't be more excited. Its been quite a ride, and I'm not sure I can handle potty training any more kids! At this age its all about what they want, when they want it. Jackson decided he wanted to be a big boy and he has done really well. I found the thing that worked best for him was to just let him run around naked. Nothing else worked. If he was wearing underwear or pull-ups he would just go and then tell me once it was too late. He still wears pull-ups at night and sometimes during naps. He is just a REALLY deep sleeper, and he drinks a ton so even with a pull-up I end up washing his sheets at least every other day. Oh well, some day we will get there. Its just nice to only have one in diapers! This picture shows Jackson's potty chart that he completed. He was very motivated to get the train to the end of the tracks so he could get this little oven set. He was so excited for it, but now we've packed it away and he hasn't even noticed!
We went strawberry picking in June and the kids had so much fun. I'm pretty sure they ate more then Kevin and I even picked. I made two batches of strawberry jam before the kids ate them all though.
We didn't take a camera to the fields, unfortunately, but we did capture the kids eating the strawberries in the bathtub!

If it makes you feel any better, Austin still wears diapers at night too. And, yes, it's actually diapers. We did the pull-up thing at night for awhile and I got sick of washing sheets and having the upstairs smell until I did. The diapers are much more absorbent. We just fear that we'll have one of those boys that wets the bed until he's 12. Seriously, he's RARELY dry in the morning.

I hate potty training! I would hire someone to come do that for me. ha ha. We want to try with Preston after this baby comes. It will be nice having one less in diapers, but it's hard when you are out and about and they are first learning and they have accidents or need to get to a bathroom now. Fun times.
Well, we've actually tried normal diapers at night and he fills them up completely. So we decided to get overnight pull-ups, but I think we need to get the overnight diapers and even go up a size. Its crazy how full his diapers are in the morning!
