Komo 4 news

I just thought I'd let those of you who live in Washington know that Jackson and I will be on the 5:00 PM Komo 4 news today (Friday May 1). So I took Jackson to Odyssey Elementary to play in the sand. There weren't any kids on the playground, so I figured it was okay. I was on the phone with my mom when a man and lady walked up and sat on the bench next to us. The man had a camera and they were just watching us, so I asked if we were in their way. The woman laughed and said, "no, we actually wanted to talk to you." So I got off the phone with my mom and then turned around to see Jackson throwing sand all over himself and me. They thought that was pretty funny. The woman introduced herself and wanted to know if I had heard about swine flu. I have of course, so then she started asking me how I felt about it and other various questions. She said that they are trying to lighten things up because everyone is so scared about this flu and she thinks its great that I would bring my son to a school that is shut down because one of the boys that goes there may have swine flu! (woops). Anyway, I'm sure I made a huge fool of myself. You may not want to admit to knowing me after tonight. I was wearing workout clothes with my hair pulled back. Yeah, I looked really good! Especially as I chased Jackson when he was running away. They seemed to think that would be fun to get on the camera. We'll see what they actually show. Hopefully I don't embarrass Kevin too much. Right, this crazy pregnant lady who doesn't care about exposing herself and her son to swine flu. Oh well.
